If I talk to some Cambodian people about what Paul Collier wrote in his book, The Bottom Billion, that oil resource is the main problem which caused one country poorer and poorer, I may be got response that I am a crazy person since only few people have known about the risk of oil resource.
Extractive industry has been growing rapidly in these last years, which most of Cambodian people expect that extractive industry will boost the economic development; however, they do not know about oil resources is the main factor which lead the country in crisis.
